May 29, 201115 yr I've seen it probably two dozen times or more in my 40. Ive seen it so many times especially down in covington.
May 29, 201115 yr When you see a police officer use his emergency equipment to get through a red light or maybe he/she is speeding remember this, when someone (you) calls the police the two expected responses are for the police officer to get to you fast, or really fast... I will also say this, where I worked if you were abusive in any way the powers that be were on you like a fly on you know what (and rightly so).

I was speeding in Henry Co and this short cop w the mandatory mustache went out of his way to be as rude as he could be to me. My wife, who had always said that guys overreact about cops and the government, was shocked by how big of a jerk he was. If I'm speeding just give me the ticket. The fine and points will teach me a lot more than some dork on a power trip. That being said, I know a lot of great police officers, but let's not pretend that many don't let the authority get to their heads.

Either a ticket or a lecture...not both. :lol:
May 30, 201115 yr I've been driving for 31 years. I've never seen an officer flip on his lights to get through a red light and then turn them off once through. I have at least 5 times. Really ticked me off to see them do that.
