Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh has been rumored to leave Stanford after the Orange Bowl to NFL teams Denver and S.F.. Also to Michigan, he is a "Michigan man" and would be a good fit there. So where, if anywhere, does everyone think that Harbaugh will be next season?

If he leaves, I believe that he will be off to Ann Arbor. He could definitely go to the NFL if he wants, but I believe he will go to Michigan or stay at Stanford.

I think he's gone from Stanford no matter what because NFL money will be too much to pass up. Stanford would be a tough place to maintain this level of success and Harbaugh has to know this. I think it's 50/50 between Michigan and the NFL. I think Harbaugh's ties to Ann Arbor may be too much to pass up. UM will have to pay him well and put a crazy buy out in there so he can't get the same treatment as RR because it would take a while to get away from the spread guys.

Seeing how as Rich go let go at UM today I thing Jim Harbaugh will be returning to his alma mater. I think he is one of those coaches that would be a great college coach but might struggle in the NFL. Just my 2 cents.

He has quite a few options. He could go to Michigan, stay at home and coach the Niners or possibly move to Charlotte and coach his college QB. He has a mound of chips to play with.

I think JH goes to Denver. John Elway wants him really bad..

Great thing for him is he is going to get PAID! Everybody wants him and wants him bad. I really feel like he's going to be with the Niners. Think about it. You have a legit shot to win your division. You've got a nice Oline that's young. You have a really good DCoordinator in place led by the best LBer in football. He wouldn't have to move from his house, his kids change schools etc. San Fran is the job that makes most sense too me.

What can he expect to be offered in terms of a contract (money and years) from the NFL and college? I would hazard a guess that UM would offer at least $3 million per for 3-4 years. Don't really know what pro coaches are making. His brother has been quite successful with the Ravens, so maybe NFL coaching is in his blood.

He wont be at Stanford. When your the hot ITEM, you better leave and get paid while you can.

I wished he would stay in College football. But my gut says Denver.

If Marvin Lewis would have been let go by the Bengals, Cincinnati would have been a perfect spot for him. He would have a chance to rebuild a franchise, get a good draft pick, and be in the same division as his brother.

For all the "Michigan Man" talk, lets not forget where he lives now and I think spent a portion of his childhood. He stays in the Bay IMO.

I do not buy all these links people try to make when these coaches make a decision (Elway went to Stanford now with the Broncos = Harbaugh to Denver). The only one I ever invest much in to is the alma mater link... even then, I do not think it plays as much of a role as everyone believes.

They are saying Miami Dolphins now.

From what I've heard Harbaugh may have already ruled out Michigan.

They are saying Miami Dolphins now.
