Only took a week to become a Highlands Thread.

I guess Brossart will get a State Championship before Campbell County. Anything can happen, that is why they play the game. The should have a Public and Catholic School State Championship, just like the all A.

Campbell County plays in 6-A, the last time I checked there were a couple of teams in Louisville - Trinity and St.X that might have something to say about Campbell County "churning out State Championships."

Well why shouldnt it be??? The thread was talking about CCHS hiring a coach that IMO isnt as good ad Turner!!! I mean come on he is the magic man and God didnt make the sky blue and white for no reason!!!!!

Wow people he went 4-6 at DHS and 3-7. With that schedule at Holmes he should have won all of those games. Now Highlands and CovCath move down he knows he can't win. Smart to get out of there.

 

Seems like some dayton folks are still mad he left, he also had a 6-5 reacord his last year at Dayton. He also played a huge roll in the development of the 07 team that went 8-3.

I dont know if the magic works out side of the fort! So CCHS should go ahead and hire Lickert since none of the Blue guys will ever leave paradise.

I hope Scott doesn't leave Highlands. He's a good coach, a good teacher and a good person and is greatly appreciated for all those things by the Highlands community.

There aren't even enough Catholic schools in the state with football to have a Catholic state championship.

16-18 record at Dayton I'm just saying. That was not coaching that group of players was just gifted athletically. That team that went 8-3 was just a good group of guys and anybody could have coached those kids. So don't give him the credit for that. Problem is he may only be there for a few years and then get up and leave again. Just don't understand why everyone makes him out to be amazing. The coach is the jockey he is only as good as the horse he is riding.

It takes coaching to develop talent and the reason Coach Lickert is a good coach is he surrounds himself with a coaching staff that he trust and believes can help the players. That is why he is a good coach! He's rumored for every coaching vacancy in NKY for a reason, so he must be doing something right.

Just seems now that HE HAS to play HHS and Cov Cath again and not the Daytins and Bellevues of the world again to run the record up he is going to run again!!!!!!!

Teach the kids to be winners all around and dont take off running on them again like you have all aready when you asked to move out of the class before..

You are absolutely clueless. Where are you head coach and what is your record? Your posts alone tell me that Lickert is ten times the person you could ever be and I'd love for my kids to play for a person like him. There's more to winning on the field. Lickert turns his kids into winners off the field. Everyone with a clue knows he is one of the top coaches in the area, period.
