Hey, Big Country is on the horizon. We don't need Coach Turner to go anywhere.

This is an irresponsible post because NO decision has been made. Making such claims and spreading this type of rumor has the potential to limit qualified candidates from applying for the job. There is an interview & hiring process in place and it will play out.

 

Heard from a source tonight that what you just said is very true. There is no coach in place and they still are interviewing candidates.

They know who they want as their next coach. Its up to him. They are interviewing to have another option. Maybe their choice says he won't take the job. They know who they want already though.

So what you're saying is that Lickert accepted the job last year and no one heard about it; but thus far this year no one knows if he's actually applied for the job, yet everyone knows he has it. I'd check your "sources".

I know, think of what the magic man could do with CCHS's 6A enrollment, he would develop a whole new comfort zone and be churning out state championships in no time IMO. Lickert is good but in no way can his experience touch that of Turner's who has coached directly under Mueller for nearly 15 years now. I think this is the perfect opportunity for him. I hear that Winrich has his path blocked at HHS once Mueller retires anyway. CCHS will have new facilities that Newport coudln't offer. Go Camels get 01N11 with Turner at the helm! :dancingpa

I think he was stating that Turner is blocked by coach W? In any event we are fortunate to have the magic man at HHS.
