Your posts alone tell me that Lickert is ten times the person you could ever be and I'd love for my kids to play for a person like him. There's more to winning on the field. Lickert turns his kids into winners off the field. Everyone with a clue knows he is one of the top coaches in the area, period.

Maybe Lickert is one of the best in the area, maybe he's not. I think it's still up in the air, and can certainly be debated. One could argue Holmes underachieved this year, what with a lopsided loss to Dixie and early exit to a four seed in the playoffs. Of course anyone with such an opinion would surely be without a clue.:lol:

Lets start by saying i have no beef with Lickert at all. He may be a great person and I have never ever said anything negative about the person. I am only speaking the truth that i know about the Coach Lickert. Let me be the first to say this if i could run from the HHS and Cov Caths of the world i would with they type of teams he has. BUt like i said earlier he can change that right were he is if he is as great as a coach as everyone here says he is. I hope you learn to deal better with people who disagree with you because clueless i am not open your eyes and look at the facts be open minded.

He is the magic man look at what he was able todo with this group of guys. He put togather a good group of o-line from a mediocore group to chose from and won it all with them.

Thats what he does year after year.

You are only as good as the staff you build around you so its really up in the air and that goes for Weinrich also. Being the best coach at your positionis much different than being a head coach.

True, I guess you never know until you get there. I know Coach Turner's players think the world of him and more importantly, have the utmost respect for him that's certainly a great start. As others have said, I hope he never leaves.

Lickert would take a big pay cut to accept the Campbell co job.

Come on you guys are killing me! If he was so great and good why is he always running fron HHS?? Stay were you are and make the program you are at better. Just seems now that HE HAS to play HHS and Cov Cath again and not the Daytins and Bellevues of the world again to run the record up he is going to run again!!!!!!!

Teach the kids to be winners all around and dont take off running on them again like you have all aready when you asked to move out of the class before..

 

The enrollment for Holmes dropped so why not move down to the class you belong in? This is pure speculation that Lickert is the coach being referred to in this thread. I know Campbell County tried to get him to come over when the job previously opened when he was at Dayton. Which he turned down obviously we shall see what happens in the coming weeks.
