Lone Oak, and Bullit East could have very won won both games that where suppose to be a lock in the past. I'm sure the Boyle players will be reminded all week that the State Championship has yet to be won. There's still one more game to go and ACS is here for a reason.

 

I would say that Boyle will be out numbered in fans, since ACS lives in the back door of WKU. To the Rebel supporters, don't assume this game is in the bag and not make the trip down to Bowling Green. They need you support in the stands. I say to the Rebel Nation, lets make city of Bowling Green "Black and Gold" on the 3rd.

This is a prediction thread and I made a bold prediction. I can assure you that I'll be at the game regardless of the outcome. I wouldn't care if Boyle County was huge underdogs, I'd be there. Right now both teams are 0-0. Good luck to both teams and as I said before, everyone have a safe trip. I can't wait. Go Rebels!

I expect Boyle County to get the win, but not by a lopsided margin. There is this perception that the east is far superior to the west in 4A, much of it fueled by Lexington Catholic's rout of Lone Oak in 2007, the first year of the six-class system. People seem to forget that Catholic was doing that to just about everybody in the playoffs that year.

 

Go back and read the prediction threads for the last two 4A finals ... in most cases, posters were expecting Bell County and Boyle County to win handily, but in both cases, the games went down to the wire. Bullitt East and Lone Oak were better teams than many people gave them credit for.

 

Allen County plays a style that is effective in playoff weather and won't be affected by weather conditions. They they just beat a pretty talented Western team on their own turf, and they will be playing very close to home on Friday night.

The west has nothing but respect from this Rebel fan. They are more than capable of winning week in and week out. Do I think my Rebels will win? Heck Yes. Do they go down there and expect to get handed the trophy? They better not if they know what's good for them.

 

I think it's going to be some awesome football next Friday night, with a terrific atmosphere. Good luck to both teams on a hard fought, injury free night of football. Play your hearts out cause there's no more "next week".

Looking at the teams that Boyle has played and defeated if the Boyle schedule was ranked from 1-15 what ranking does Allen County-Scottsville have? Is there anyone with enough knowledge of all the teams Boyle has played to accurately rank them? I was wondering where ACS would fall in rankings compared to everyone else on Boyle's schedule.

ACS's overall schedule was average, but they just beat two strong squads from Western and Lone Oak! Boyle should be favored, but ACS will have a shot!

Winning on the road in the semi finals tells me that ACS is a really good team and should not be taken lightly. I think Western was the favorite from the start of the year from the West and to knock them off at thier place to boot makes that win even more impressive. I don't know if my heart can take another close game like last year, but I will take a win anyway we can get it. The past 2 years was close and I see this year no different. Just win and "Defend the Pride" Go Rebels!
