In all seriousness, I do have a lot of respect for the Ryle team and football community. I had a great time with a few of them last season when they visited St. X. in the playoffs. They were all 1st class people.

 

Nonetheless, this Trinity team is a football machine, far beyond that which most of us are accustomed to seeing at the high school level. The Raiders task in this game is indeed daunting, which is why I said what I said. However, stranger things have happened and I wish you the best of luck in this encounter. :thumb:

I believe that Trinity will win, but they will get more of a challenge than many are anticipating, including myself during an earlier point in the season.

With saying that, I would love for Ryle to win and bring a 6A title back to NKY. Good luck Raiders.

I think I remember some similar statements several years ago, before Trinity was taken down by Dixie. It'll be settled on the field on Friday, not before, I'm sure Ryle's coaching staff will make sure of that.

Down.. I mean what is Down by Trinity standards? A down squad is still probably one of the best in NKY. They saw a home game against a smaller NKY team. Dixie had the better QB in the game and some very nice skill players who showed up to play.

Trintiy was down and had major chemistry problems that year. Anything can happen this year, though.

Trinity is the better team, but not unbeatable. It'll take a heckuva game from the Raiders, but it's probably worth their time to show up and see what happens. Regardless of the outcome, I think it'll be a fun game to watch. I certainly think the weather will favor Ryle. Bring on the cold.

Trinity will get beat by someone at some point. Every great team/program always does. Ryle has a good shot at being that team with home field advantage and some big wins in the last month. Friday night can't get here soon enough.

I must agree. It's the end of the road for Ryle. They had a good season and should hold their heads up high. It is what it is.

 

That will for sure not be the attitude at Ryle but maybe at other places in Boone Co. Simply look back one year to how SK played X so close at X after getting throttled by T in 2008. Teams can improve drastically just like SK did between 08 and 09. Ryle has improved drastically between 09 and 10 and you will see a dogfight if you come over to Union Friday night. Check it out and you will be proud of the football played in Boone Co and NKY 6A.

Ryle has an amazing team. Great Db's with #24. He's a stud. They will need to play mistake free football, and the defense has to step up big. I'm going to take Trinity in this one, but I predict Ryle will give them a great game. I also think Ryle will be leading at the half.

OK, serious question for Northern Kentucky folks.

 

How good is this Ryle team? Better than the Boone County teams that Trinity played? Better than the Simon Kenton team last year? How do they compare to the Ryle team that made it to the finals? Just curious. Am trying to make decision to I stay and watch Central-Tilghman or go to Trinity-Ryle.
