Saw that on Yahoo's front page earlier. I think its going to be the start of a movement in which new facilities and floor designs are going to be going away from the traditional layout and start throwing major changes in the pattern.

I think it should be a requirement that the lane be a uniform color. Do whatever else you want, but a uniform color in the lane.

Oregon is one of a kind when it comes to their sports.

That is one wild floor design. Talk about home court advantage....

I don't doubt the NCAA is looking at this with the possibility of reining in some of this stuff.

Sure would be nice. Sure would also be nice if someone important within the NCAA had the stones to say, "Mr. Knight, your floor and uniform designs are atrocious. Please go away, and take your ugly, overpriced shoes with you."

I actually like it. I was watching the Oregon football game with some friends last night and I told them if I were a young kid with no allegiance to a school I'd be a HUGE Oregon fan. They are a fast paced exciting team with all the Nike money they want to play with. I don't find it nearly as annoying as Boise St.'s football field.

They need to. Unless its a very faint pattern when actually on the floor. Its like camouflage for the lines. "Was his foot on the line?" "Which line?"

Agreed. The refs have a hard enough time getting it right without having to negotiate artwork.

You are the first person I've ever heard complain about their uniforms being "atrocious". Most love them.

Nike's uniforms and shoes are a lot of things. The last of which is atrocious.

Sorry, but I've seen some pretty atrocious crap Nike has put out. But hey, it's not about the uinis/shoes or the team. It's all about the brand and money.
