October 26, 201015 yr Ha what are you doing up at NKU? My class is cancelled and this seems dumb, because I'm doing right now exactly what I would be if we were still in class. I have another class at 1:40 with an assignment due so I can't really leave. So here I sit, in the hall way in Founders Hall at NKU with about 70-80 other people. Working brother, in the Lucas Administrative building. Not working hard though, obviously. They made us go down to the first floor tunnels for about 15 mins.
October 26, 201015 yr We've been getting extremely heavy winds all morning in Bardstown, and the storm blew through right at about 12:15 or so. Extremely heavy for about 20 minutes, but just steady rain ever since. If this keeps up like this for a while, we'll have flooding in the lower areas such as Boston (if it's not already). It's garbage day on my block, and my can ended up across the street in my neighbor's side yard, and a portion of the contents (as well as a few other neighbors' trash) ended up on their front lawn. I picked that up (also got myself and my new shoes soaked in the process), but I'm not sure whether I should go out searching for the rest of my trash or not. I think at least part of it ended up in the storm drain. Hopefully all the rest did, sparing neighbors the trouble.

Hmmm I need to stop in there soon, they took my paper work for graduation but not my money which I found to be rather ironic since all anyone ever talks about is how they want the money up front.

October 26, 201015 yr I actually love Thunderstorms and the scenery it brings. Add in a tornado that is a safe distance away from my house and its rather cool to look at. That is, unless it is 1 mile down the road and heading towards my apartment!
October 26, 201015 yr You guys ok, woods? The wind is howling in Hoptown, but no real rain or storms, yet. My house rattled all night long from the winds. Yep, it left as fast as it came. Sky is clear and sunny now. The only difference is it's about 20 degrees cooler. When I went to work out this morning at 5:30 it was 76 degrees. Now isn't about 55 degrees.

October 26, 201015 yr It was over in Frankfort around 1 pm. It was almost 80 degrees, and now it is 60. Sirens went off for about 15 minutes.
October 26, 201015 yr Just came back from lunch here at work. Looks like the weathermen/women are having a great time monopolizing all the TV time. Hope it all blows through before I get off work at 3:30....speaking of which, I better get back to work! Hey if it keeps political ads off the air they can monopolize all they want!

October 26, 201015 yr I went home for lunch and where I live in Cold Spring it was much to do about nothing. A little wind and heavy rain for about 5 minutes but some of the stuff on the news looked nasty.
