I'm really not sure how you got "people are bitter in Union," quite a few of us are happy with the direction of this program.

It will be a big battle in Union to most likely determine the district champion Friday night. It does not matter who plays or not for each team. It will be a war. I would guess that Travis would be out but Ryle has shown plenty of resiliency with all of the starters that are out for the season or have missed games. Other guys will step up. Injuries are an unfortunate part of football that every team has to deal with. Both teams will strap it up and bring it. Ryle will find a way to end the SK winning streak at 1. Go Raiders.

If Elliott is out, I will have to go with SK in this one. Their D is stifling and VERY fast. They will blitz the heck out of Ryle and make it very difficult for them to get in any type of rhythm. Should be one heckuva ball game.

Ryle's secondary was banged up a little last night. They should get a starting safety back next week. It happened to be the wrong opponent to be matched up against not being 100% in the secondary. I don't think SK will present the same passing issues that Campbell did, who indeed has a strong passing game. Of course, SK has a more balanced attack than Campbell, who doesn't really run the ball at all. Ultimately, Ryle has to tackle better. So many missed tackles last night. On Campbell's 58-yard TD, there had to be 5 missed tackles. I think we'll see a marked improvement in the defense next week from what we've seen the past two weeks. Of concern, however, is that with Elliott out (assuming he is out, of course), it means two players who are not used to going both ways fulltime might have to do so and that could have some impact late in the game.

 

Actually the Camels can pass but believe it or not Sk might have an even better attack...all the camels do is pass and Ryle still couldnt stop it, but Sk can pass just as good as CC, only SK can run too...Chad Lawrence is a defenses nightmare on the ground and through the air

There is a difference in making excuses and being a realist. SK will not be playing a healthy Ryle, and if the shoe was on the other foot, you would be saying the same thing. Remember in a few years, those 26 people will not remember this game. Hopefully it is a good game and both team will probably make the playoffs.
