If Hemple doesn't have capable targets to throw too it makes no difference and my guess is his wr's aren't very good and thats why he hasn't been throwing...Also I'm guessing you haven't seen the SK special teams unit, their very special...Fg's have been automatic this year and the punts are high deep tight spirals everytime!..Ha weather as an excuse for a football team losing i've heard it all now...Does SK retract a roof overthem when their on offense at home and is that how they won last year? If SK loses this year i'm going to blame it on the food they ate at lunch, I think their serving a new chicken nugget this Friday and SK's stomachs might not be used to them!:laugh:

Ryle lost last year because SK was better with Simpson, Hansel and a very good O-line. Conditions were the same for both teams. Never would I ever use weather as an excuse for losing a game.

Originally I thought Ryle would have a chance in this game, but after reading how SK will not only dominate NKY 6-A for the foreseeable future but challenge Trinity/X on the state level (or is it T/X may try to challenge SK); I can't see a competitive game?? SK 45 Ryle -7 :D:D:D

Maybe the Elliott issue will , in the long run, help Ryle. If Elliott does not play maybe it forces the coaches to be, shall we say, a bit more creative in the gameplan. If Mullins is as good as advertised Ryle will still be able to run the ball . However, maybe the coaching staff will now let their D1 qb actually be part of the game plan and let him keep the defense off balance with a passing game mixed in.

I think you are spot on. They may add a few wrinkles into the game plan without their bruising RB. I'm not foolish enough to think SK rolls with or without Elliott.

The team will still be at school for the chicken nuggets, it's a Friday tradition DUH!!! In all seriousness though if SK loses it's probably because the players grabbed their sneakers and forgot their cleats at home...Or maybe SK wasn't ready for the field conditions..If SK loses it's simply because they played a bad game, I'll never make a ridiculous excuse for my team losing.
