I am going to take a guess here and say his parents were involved in the decision. Also, I am sure no doctor, especially their team doctor, would allow a kid on the field if he had not passed ALL of the test required to play after a concussion.

This kid was also cleared to play by a doctor. Below is an excerpt from the article. I guess I have always been of the volition that you err on the side of caution. Didn't someone on here say that they had a friend that was reffing the game and he said it was the most violent hit he had seen in all his years of working high school games?

I am sure all involved would be willing to listen to your advice once you present credentials that show you to be more qualified than a 5 star concussion specialist.
