Yes they do. I think Boone needs to evaluate the situation and make a decision after this season. Time has passed this guy bye. Thompson is burying this program,heeds to resign or be fired.

Boone got killed on offense and defense tonight. Highlands did absolutely anything they wanted tonight. Highlands is a great football team and has the best coaches. Thompson looked very bad throwing i think 6 balls and the only one that was completed was too the other team. Terrible coaching by Boone tonight. I still believe they will/can finish they year 7-3. They have Campbell Conner and Cooper the next 3 games which will be easy wins. Then i think they will handle Sk, and Ryle and Dixie will be tough games.

 

You've been predicting easy wins against these three teams all season. Let's just say as each week goes by and hearing all the complaints by Boone fans, I'm feeling more confident that these won't be EASY wins. Boone may win but I doubt they will be easy and I'm predicting at least 1 one loss if not 2 out of these games.

I don't see this happening in a million years. Maybe if Boone were the only high school in the district and the whole community and school board were against the guy, but I think in this case the administration and school board has a checklist and if they have a coach in each position, then they can check that off the list and move on. Unless parents go to the admin. and school board and complain, his job is safe. And it would take years of complaints for them to remove a coach unless he was abusive or unprofessional. Being a bad coach wouldn't do it.

Did True play last night? Why did Seidl get the carries he did? I wasn't there and don't know. That's why I am asking. I would have expected True to get carries and TD's instead of sophomore Seidl.

Streeter was out with an injury. I am not sure if True played or not but regardless I have heard that Seidl would be getting Varsity minutes and that was earlier in the year. I am sure they were limiting Compton's carries due to him coming back from a slight concussion and wanted to utilize both True and Seidl.

 

To be honest these are the types of games where you can get some young kids in with the older ones and see how they do.

Absolutely not. He's a sophomore. JV is where he and every sophomore should be playing and getting experience.
