The TE is Trevon Brown. He has already signed to play at Miami OH. I think he is expected to play tackle in college.

Boone got killed on offense and defense tonight. Highlands did absolutely anything they wanted tonight. Highlands is a great football team and has the best coaches. Thompson looked very bad throwing i think 6 balls and the only one that was completed was too the other team. Terrible coaching by Boone tonight. I still believe they will/can finish they year 7-3. They have Campbell Conner and Cooper the next 3 games which will be easy wins. Then i think they will handle Sk, and Ryle and Dixie will be tough games.

 

I don't think any of the three you mentioned will be easy wins. I also don't think BC will handle SK. SK's weakness thus far this season is they can't stop the pass and BC refuses to pass? If BC ends up 7-3 (and they may) they will have earned it without many if any easy wins.

What grade is Seidl in? Has he played JV this year or does he have a brother? Boone got exposed tonight big time. I believe it's time for a new coach and a new offensive philosophy at Boone. They went through some years with solid RB's and thought they were the Pittsburgh Steelers, but those days are gone. It's time for a change at Boone. They may not win another game this season. I think I predicted Boone would lose this game 56-0. Missed by one.

The game tonight from the Rebels was flat out disgusting! The kids have the will and the want to, but the game plan is for the 80's. Any half decent coaching staff will know what Boone does and can probably stop it with ease. The defense is getting over worked because the offense is simply at a stand still. What I really don't understand is how the offensive coordinator continues to ignore a 6'4 270 pound tight end. If you can't find ways to get the ball in his hands, then seek help to do so because it's a waist of productive talent. The offensive line can't block more than what's coming at them so you can't blame the Oline for lack of scoring. I honestly think Boone has more punts than pass attempts, and if that's acceptable then that program is in some serious trouble. Boone is not on a HH level (player and coaches combined), but they can make a better showing than what was displayed tonight. Highlands pretty much did what they wanted to on both sides of the ball tonight and completely controlled all 4 quarters, even with the subs. As good as HH looked, I still don't think they're at last years level at this time, but they are still very good and will be for years to come.

 

 

8 in the box is all you need to stop Boone. Fastnbul I get where you are coming from but back in the 80's Boone had 3 backs who could consistently take it to the house and the Power running game worked. Times have changed with spread offenses. Thompson is from the old school and doesn't seem to want to deviate. Power right, power left, buck, O lead, foot to foot slam, you get the point. Yes Cooper and Ryle have taken talent that likely used to go to Boone but to get blown out that bad is a joke. They have athletes at Boone but the question is are they being utilized correctly?

 

I am also surprised they can't figure out a way to get the ball in Trevan Brown's hands. He is a stud but underutilized for sure.

Colin is a sophomore and although he is small in stature he may be the toughest and fastest in that class. He will smack you in the mouth just like big bro Ty.

Don't beat yourself up over that point...HHS missed on an XP! LOL!

When his receivers are covered he has run very effectively the last couple of starts. OL for HHS played great and downfield blocking was outstanding. The block by Sheehan to spring Towles on his long TD run was impressive!

 

AGREED! OL looked superb...and congrats to Jason Waldenmeyer (Jr./OT) on earning his first varsity start. Excellent game...keep up the good work! And the WR have gotten much better at downfield blocking...thus, the long runs! And look at lil' ole Froggy scoring 4 td's, getting his picture in the morning paper AND interviewed by the illustrious Ryan Ernst. WOW! A season in one night, LOL! We definitely will be hearing more from this scat-back...and he's only a soph-o-more!
