I would like to know who/how this is being funded. I really wish this could go to the voters of the community. They were already run out of the Mt. Zion area a few years ago. Wonder why? I believe the GZ location also has funding issues/questions?? Why can't these people just move to Dearborn, MI? They already have their own community set up. Just hard for me to endorse a religion that likes to harm innocent American people.

 

Why can't Pentecostals just move to areas where they are already "set-up"? Why can't Catholics or Southern Baptists go where they are already "set-up"? Why can't people in the inter-city move to where "their" people are "set-up? and not in MY community?

Then those using that excuse for the opposition in NYC has no right to do so! If people are in an outcry that they want to see who is behing bulid the mosque in NYC, they shoudn't have a problem with showing their faces either there or in Florence. "Do what I say, not what I do?"

Denying people to build a mosque is going to do what to main stream Muslims? It only shows hostility towards their faith and makes a situation worse. Some people forget, or want to forget, that the Muslims who have harmed people with attacks such as 9-11 are extremists! They do not reflect on the majority of a religion, any religion!

I would have no problem with them building a mosque in Florence.

 

I don't believe there should be one built near ground zero. I also believe that when we go to war with countres-Iraq and Afghanastan-currently-that we blow the crap out of them and let them rebuild their country themselves. No nation building. No building building. No more money for Pakistan if they are harboring terrorists. The USA's lack of providing money will quickly get their attention. Concentrate on the USA, and when we get ourselves figured out-help others, not until.

I disagree. He says "kill first ask questions later". That, to me, says before you've determined you've even got the right agressors, you go with your knee-jerk reaction. In another post, maybe this thread, maybe the other one, he says that we shouldn't worry about killing innocents. In essence, that's exactly the process that terrorists take.

Well I sure hope Enes Kanter doesn't decide to go to a mosque, some will be outraged, they may even tell him he has no right to be in the state and that he should go to Deerfield MI where his people are already "set-up". They may even ship Cal out as well for bringing a muslim player to UK.
