I never once picked Rockcastle win, I am rooting for the Maroon.....gosh, that hurt to even say

 

I just stated both schools have great traditions and I feel it will be a low scoring game, and with that thought I stated the winner will only win by 2 points, irregardless what the score is.

I am rooting for Ashland, because I enjoy still watching some football locally on Friday Nights, since my County took an early exit :cry:

Do you always repeat what you here? would them other teams be from the mountains? that maybe lost to the T-Cats and Coach Hart this season! :eek:

 

I can't speak for everyone, but I haven't heard any JCHS fans say anything negative about Coach Hart or any of the Ashland team. So I don't think he got that from us.

I would imagine he was. Me and IronHead go back a ways and I know he he feels towards those prestunsburg folk, but I cant say I disagree with him.

I believe that ashland will pull off another win to head to regionals, but it wont be easy. I wouldnt be surprised to see it go into overtime again.

Having seen Mason County play at Ashland and at Rockcastle; I have to go with Ashland. Look for Gurule to make the difference on offense and defense. Rock looked awfully weak on pass coverage last week, I'll take the Tomcats by 28-17.

I am going with Ashland in this one. Holbrook is one of the best QB's that I have seen this year, and Hart will have them ready to play.

I made a prediction earlier in the season that no one would score

35 on Ashland this season, and no one has. Rock has a good team,

but if Ironton only scores 28 no way Rock scores 34, IMO.

 

Appearing to some as though he is wiping blood from a ballbat with which he has been beating a horse, he says what he knows is in vain:

 

"Ironton is down this season; more proof can be found in Ironton's

last game verses Rock Hill. Ironton was in position to lose that

ballgame, something that they wouldn't do in 98% of the Bob Lutz

era."

 

Conceding that he will never win that battle, he turns to the topic at hand:

 

"I like Ashland in a close ballgame. Holbrook will take over late in

the second half, late, and end up winning by 1 to 2 TD's at Putnam."

 

 

He adds:

 

"Quit using the Ironton loss as a medal of honor, and start using

big games that you actually won - Ashland has a pretty good team

without using that game."
