I think Garzelli's has a far better Rueben than Izzy's. Anyone ever tried it?

Anything from Wallace Station in Midway. :thumb:

It's been a while since I wondered into this thread, but I completely agree.

I've only had Firehouse subs once and it was awesome!

Fried green tomato sandwich, prepared ala Draper's Café at The Greenbrier. For $1.75, the sandwich featured a fried green tomato, field greens and goat's cheese dressed with a black pepper aioli which was the signature sandwich at The Greenbrier Classic this year.

About to head to Penn Station and get a dagwood. Smoked ham, salami, pepperoni, oven-roasted turkey, provolone and american cheese, lettuce and extra mayo.

Homemade: Turkey with cranberry sauce(leftovers from Tgiiving), with Hellmans Mayo on white Wonder bread.

Restuarant: Roast Beef and Garlic melt at Beef O" Brady's

I was watching re-runs of Man vs. Food before I went grocery shopping on Tuesday night. I ended up making a sandwich relatively inspired from one of the food challenge sandwiches. Thick-sliced corned beef (put it on the griddle top for a few minutes ahead of time to get it nice and browned). Slap that on onto a couple slices of French bread, add some Havarti cheese, fried egg, tomato, mayo, coleslaw and french fries. It was magnificent.

Man, that sounds awesome. Might have to try that one.

Anytime some of my friends from out of town are looking for a good place to get a quick bite I send them straight to Firehouse. You can't go wrong. It's spectacular every single time I go.

Anything from Primanti's Brother's in Pittsburgh! Best Sandwiches ever!

I had a great sandwich for lunch. Balogna, Tomato, Salt & Vinegar Chips, Heavy on the mustard. It was great.

Chips on the sandwich, or on the side?

Chips on the sandwich, or on the side?
I've never gotten the "chips on the sandwich" thing.

On the sandwich. I like chips on certain sandwiches and that one was a winner.

Had a cheeseburger from Quatman's in Norwood for lunch today (bowl of bean soup on the side). Great stuff.
