October 24, 201114 yr Author An old friend of mine is married to a guy who was born in Costa Rica. His family is up visiting currently, and on Saturday I was invited over for their family dinner. His mom and grandma cooked, and the main course (at the husband's request) was some type of Costa Rican steak sandwich. AAAAAAAAAAMAZING! They sauteed steak cutlets with onions and peppers, put it on toasted french bread along with pureed black beans, melted quesillo cheese, and this fantastic sauce called "Lizano". It's kind of a thick, tangy condiment that is apparently like ketchup to Costa Ricans. I just ordered myself 3 bottles of the stuff online. HIGHLY recommend!
October 24, 201114 yr Lightly toasted bread On one bread add crunchy peanut butter (while bread still warm so it gets real creamy) - add sliced banana On other bread add grape jam (cold, right out of refrigerator) Very basic and simple. So good makes Elvis want to come and get it!!
