Please send the pitching coach out to go over his options. He didn't have to even pitch to Bay with a base open. Most managers can manage ahead in the game but the good ones find a way to keep a game close against a good team and give your guys a chance to win at the end. Imo there was a chance to keep this game at 1-0 and win it 2-1. That went away with a base hit up the middle.

Good outing by Santana, I don't think the Red's hit many hard after Phillip's leadoff double. Back on the horse tomorrow, the Mets don't look to me like they swinging all that well. Maybe Arroyo can keep them confused and we head to Philly win a series win.

The Reds weren't the only bidders for him, were they? I can't believe the Reds made the biggest contract offer, and surely his value as a prospect hasn't dropped that much in just a couple months.

Why would his value drop because he has shown some control problems? He is still trying to get acclimated to the U.S. and brings the ball up there like its shot out of a cannon and he is "left-handed" Name the last 5 power throwing lefthanders and Randy Johnson doesn't count.

Absolutely incredible! Never, EVER leave a baseball game early(especially at Coors Field). Redbirds went into the bottom of the ninth ahead 9-3. All the Rockies do is tally 9 runs and win 12-9.

 

Well, that makes up for that one the Redlegs blew to the Braves when the Reds lead 9-3 only to watch Atlanta score 7 in the bottom of the ninth.
