Sometimes you don't even agree w/ the point you are arguing just b/c you think Dusty takes too much heat. I agree that the people that criticize him usually don't give him his due credit some times. I think that's your biggest point.

I think that's your biggest point. :thumb: My main thing is a lot of these "dumb" decisions are only judged as such based on the outcome. If Maloney gets Bay out, and he had given me no indication that he couldn't/wouldn't, we aren't having this debate. Most of these issues there is no clear cut right or wrong decision. If he had taken Maloney out, I have no problem with it, but I most certainly don't have a problem with him leaving him in in that situation either.

July 7, 201016 yr While I would like to have Cliff Lee, he is a phenomenal pitcher that is better than anyone the Reds have, there are more glaring needs. The Reds could use some outfield help or a utility infielder to help give guys like Cabrera, Rolen, and Gomes some breaks. Maybe a guy like Uribe from the Giants or Wigginton from the Orioles. Don't forget the Nats have put Adam Dunn on the market!! :laugh: That was a joke. Since you posted this yesterday....Adam is one day closer to retirement.
