The some of ya'll will throw a huge fit that there is no way he should have left Bronson in there after throwing over a 100 pitches. I can see it now. I understand why GT doesn't venture into these threads to much anymore lol. Yes I was serious. It's not like I was saying the craziest thing ever or bashing Dusty...I have NEVER ONCE said one bad thing about Dusty or anything he has done on here. As a matter of fact, I have been one of the biggest people defending him against all the haters. 100 pitches for Bronson is not like 100 for Cueto, Leake, or anyone on the Reds for that matter. He flips curveballs at least half the time and he is effortless when he throws. They really hadn't come close to scoring a run against him besides the HR and this was a huge game to take a series. That was my only point. If Arroyo took himself out then that's obviously a completely different story. But like I said, they won and that's all that matters. Hopefully the can take the series from the Phils and maybe stretch out a 4 or 5 game lead going into the break.

July 8, 201016 yr Loving this. Go Reds! Me too! There is nothing better than getting in from work, eating some food, then sitting down and watching the Reds game. This year is the complete opposite of year's passed. I usually start strong and watch every game on TV and then that dies down, but I usually go to a few games in late summer. This year I went to two games of the first weekend series and never watched on TV much but now it is an every night ritual to watch them. I just can't get enough.
July 8, 201016 yr Cordero has converted his last 7 save opportunities. I understand that Rhodes is having the better season, but the bullpen seems comfortable with the roles as they are. Why change it, especially when you're 3 games in 1st place & only have 4 games remaining before the All Star Break? Another HUGE win for Colorado....loving that!
July 8, 201016 yr What can you say about Brandon Phillips? The guy is having a GREAT year. He's hitting .307 with 12 HR, 30 RBI, 10 SB & 65 Runs scored thus far. From the leadoff spot, he's hitting .338 (23/68) with a .375 OBP%. He has 3 doubles, 2 triples, and 3 HR. Only 8 RBI and his walk to K ratio isn't great (4:9). But the guy is getting it done.
