July 9, 201016 yr I actually don't mind it much, just terrible execution. I'm more a fan of the squeeze a little later in the game (7th or 8th) to either tie or take the lead. 5th is a little early in my book, but that's just my opinion.

July 9, 201016 yr Dusty didn't want to see Stubbs strike out there. That's my take on that call. True, plus you never know, Stubbs has a chance to beat it out. That's how you put a bunt down with a man on second. Great job by Cueto. Gotta swing away with Phillips, especially since is Corky lol.
July 9, 201016 yr Can't hit the ball to the corner there. Granted the infield was in but a ball to the middle has a much better chance. I would have perferred to see BP squeeze than Stubbs last inning. With Stubbs, you've got a guy that can't bunt at all. If he could he'd atleast try to bunt for a base hit every now and then. I never see him try to do it. BP does it on occasion
July 9, 201016 yr ^ If Bruce was on third for BP, then I'm all about it. No way with Corky Miller on third lol.
July 9, 201016 yr Heads up play by Phillips, but if Werth just puts his foot back on the bag that's not a double play.
