Please everyone, forgive me for doing this, but I will defend SK on the scheduling Scott issue. Scott is one of three Kenton County district schools (Dixie, Scott and SK). Because of that, I think SK and Scott should play each other every year.

 

Sounds like a no-brainer to me.

That score board will say vistior team SK 38 home team Ryle 14!!

Not disagreeing with you. My point is that Sk doesn't play anyone. There non district scheduling is terrible. As the same as Conner. Reason why both were eliminated in the play offs last season.

Jousting at windmills........everyone knows that the best 6A team in NKY is the 3rd best team in the state. In the past few years, BC, Ryle and SK have had there turn at the top of the mountain. This year appears to be as equal as any in the past- no clear favorite.

I have been a SK fan when they sucked and when they was good if u don't like what I post then don't read it. Also i wasn't bashing Scott or Highlands all I was doing was replying to a comment about SK playing Scott. For people that don't know much about SK and Scott they used to be a huge rivalry.

News to you, Simon Kenton will not win the state championships this year so stop acting like they are going to be national champions. Again, what you write down are not thoughts, they are far far far far fetched dreams. The moderators should create a board just for you and call it a wish list.

That is correct. October 8th is the Friday of the bye week, and there is no school that day.

I'd say it's more to see if a certain SK poster is on his game with his predictions.

I don't know if UK#1fan is on Simon Kenton's development or marketing payroll, but he should be. Prior to following his posts I had only a slight interest in the Pioneers that consisted basically of pulling for them when they played non-northern KY opponents. Add me to the list of people genuinely interested in how the Simon Kenton vs. Ryle game turns out. UK#1fan is out of the P.T. Barnum, Bill Veeck, Andy Furman school of marketing. :thumb:
