I just got done watching SK against Boone County video from last year and in the 3rd Qtr SK put there 2nd string in and easyly ran the ball down BC's throat with Danny Wetter and Michael OHara this years OL is know worrries!

Pretty sure Simon Kenton has 6 wins or over 6 wins in the past 5 seasons!

But hey if Simon Kenton fans want to live off that great season of playing one of the worst non-district schedules in the district. Well, i mean you played Scott? I wasn't sure if they were considered High School or Pee Wee now days. And how could i forget your ALMOST win against St. X that all Sk fans love to talk about. You lost, never before has an almost win meant anything.. Well except to Sk. Now coming into the 2010 season we will see the same Sk team we've season the past four decades. Coming in to 2010 season u will see a Simon Kenton team that returns 14 starters and plenty of other players who recieved playing time. I am confident they will blow out Boone County again maybe this year they don't pull there starters during the 3rd QTR and really run up the score!!!

Stopped by to see the new fieldhouse, and ended up taking a self guided tour. Very impressive structure, the lockers are on the main level, one neat feature is in the coach's office, two big windows that overlook the practice facility below. I measured that part of the building and it appears to be 90' by 60' so likely big enough to run some plays during those stormy Summer afternoons. The officials look like they will have a nice room to shower after the game as well.

As I always say I love your passion for SK football, but here is a gut check from the 6A state championship game..in 2008..The final score was 48 to 0. Miles Simpson-the greatest player ever in Pioneer football history had less than 75 yards rushing on 16 carries. The passing game threw for less than 50 yards in the game and the Shamrocks had their subs in in the 3rd quarter.

 

I think it is one thing to say you may be the best in Northern Kentucky 6A football, and SK may be that. To play with the big boys of Trinity and St. X I am telling you is a different matter.

To come in second in the state is nice, but what you really want is a championship in Independence. I was at the state championship games last year in Bowling Green and the losers of the games aren't jumping up and down like they did something miraculous, especially if they got blown out.

So what does this make Highlands? Higlands has played Scott since the 2007 season and even play them this year so I guess u can eat that plate of crow i just served u!

Wow Boone County played Scott High school in 2005 and 2006 guess u missed them seasons?

Simon Kenton will have around 26 Sr's, 23 Jr's not sure how many Sophomores but I know they have a few that can start.
