I agree that Highlands is the no.1 team until they are beaten, but the same goes for teams like Holmes.

Until they show they can beat the better teams in NKY,they are not a top ten team.

Holmes has always had good athletes, but they were never a good team.

That does seem high for Holmes, they must have a strong class.

No way is SK #2, Holmes #5, or Cooper #10. Polls like this are just for fun, but man the six class things sure has watered down good rivalries. I am glad uk#1fan can stir up some good play. In the end it will be Beechwood standing in A, NCC or Holy Cross in 2A, Holmes in 4A, because there is nobody else. Highlands in 5A, and Ryle, SK and Boone can battle it out for 6A Northern Kentucky supremacy, but the 6A teams again are WAY below the top powers in the state. Like 4 touchdowns shy.

What would be funny is if Ryle beats Highlands and Simon Kenton beats Ryle!!!

Isn't Beechwood supposed to have a down year with the loss of Colosimo and Rigdon?

Isn't Beechwood supposed to have a down year with the loss of Colosimo and Rigdon?

Is there such a thing in Beechwood? They seem to be a team that is always loaded with talent.

Pretty sure most people realized that 2009 was supposed to be the down year ..... an 8 member senior class was the reason/logic.

As far as this year ... we shall see soon enough.

What would be funny is if Ryle beats Highlands and Simon Kenton beats Ryle!!!

If, is a mighty big word , especially when used in your phrase "if Ryle beats Highlands". Ryle may beat Highlands , heck, I can't tell the future. It also reminds me of another phrase

"if a frog had wings , he wouldn't bump his.................................. (Have a nice day!)

I think Cov. Cath will return to the top under Highlands of course.

CCH could finish anywhere from 2 (and , heck, why not 1?) to 7.

QB play will determine that.

I just found this on Twitter from Ky Sports Radio.

1. Highlands

2. Simon Kenton :ylsuper:

3. Ryle

4. Holmes

5. Cov Cath

6. Dixie

7. New Cath

8. Beechwood

9. Conner

10. Cooper

My man Rick Broering certainly got people talking. I'll have to wait and see about Cooper being ahead of Boone.

I'm a big fan of Coach Lickert but 4?
