Well, the way I see it, if we can't have fun in life, then life just ain't worth living. I applaud you for having the intestinal fortitude to say what you think. Highlands lost alot of starters there QB only started half the season. Only thing Simon Kenton lost was the OL and Miles Simpson. Chad Lawrence has started since he was a Sophomore and return all there WR's. The Defense returns 8 starters. Highlands would have there hands full if they played each other.

Good thing it will be easy to replace their O Line. Or, since the QB is so fast, he really only needs a center to get him the ball, and 4 other big guys to stand in the way of the defense for a second, or two at the most, and then he is gone.

 

I applaud your unflinching sense of optimism about this year's team. If they turn out nearly as good as you make them out to be, it will be fun reading your posts every Friday night/Saturday morning!

Simon Kenton's OL will be fine. Simon Kenton has had tons of sucess with there OL's they have had atleast 5 D1 linemen through the years. I am pretty sure this years OL will jell together just fine Lawrence plays out of the shotgun most the time he only needs a few seconds to hit his target!

Not disagreeing with you here as Lawrence is a great athlete, but games are won in the trenches.

This kills me lol. In all seriousness though, there are few teams in NKY that COULD beat Highlands.

I know it sounds crazy, but I really think Campbell will be in the top 10 and in the playoffs at the end of the year. They really do have some talent.

Not that I'm a math major, but the Highlands QB started 9 out of 15 games, which if I'm correct is better than half. According to the roster he's an inch taller than he was last year and is almost 50 pounds heavier. Things change in a year for a lot of players and teams. For those that have not seen Cory Compton for Highlands watch out.
