Guess I am use to watching Miles Simpson getting over 200 yards a game. I think his best game was against Conner in 2008 he had 41 rushes 287 yards 6 TD's. That was the best game I ever watched it was back and fourth the final score was 46 to 41.

Last time I checked receiving yards are when u catch the ball. Rushing yards are when u run the ball.

First or second running back in NKY? Your crazy. Who did Cooper play last year? NOBODY. Which is exactly why Bradley had big numbers. Travis Elliot is the number one running back without a doubt in the district. Next to Oppenheimer, then you can argue if Bradley even deserves to be third in the district.

I was used to watching Alexander for the Rebs. However, I would not compare the other backs I have seen through out he years to him. The same for Miles. He was the best back to ever play for SK. You won't see the likes of him for a while if ever at SK. I think you should give him that due. I saw Elliot 3 times last season and honestly I will be surprised if he doesn't run all over SK. We'll see in the fall. Fully expect to get blasted on this site if the Pioneers lose to any NKY team this season. Good luck:lol:

The only reason Boone didn't blow you out more than what they did was due to the field conditions and they still held you to 3 points? Cooper will never be able to hang with Ryle or Boone. Hey maybe you'll get your first district win this year though :lol:.. I mean your what 0-10 and you wanna talk about your so called stud running back? Play some real teams and try not getting blown out by halftime and make it a real game. THEN we'll see if he's a good back. But so far i haven't scene such a thing.

I am a fan of football not just of Cooper so to say they are my team is a bit misdirected. I was just stating that Bradley is one of the top backs in NKY. Which a lot of people would agree with. I didn't mean to get your homer undies in a bunch though, I do apologize.

Rebel Dad, I don't remember this thread being about bashing the Cooper Football Program...do you? From what I recall, Boone did not have such a great season last year, so your point of them winning these games is void. If I recall correctly we were talking about good running backs, and some of the stats Bradley put up last year were very impressive. Many of these impressive stats were against the same schools your Rebels played. Your first point about Ryle is incorrect, their JV was not in middle of the 2nd quarter. Also, by the middle of the 2nd quarter, Bradley had 100 yards rushing and a score, FYI. I was in attendence at the Cooper/Boone game and I seem to recall the biggest reason that Cooper lost that game was not because of the weather conditions, but more along the lines of them playing themselves out of a win. I understand that you are passionate about Boone County Football, and that is good. I am not here to bash that program at all. But to give criticize a team in an irrelevent thread about their record is a little immature, IMO. And to say that Bradley is not, atleast, a top 3 RB in NKY is just non-sense especially when he played 5 or 6 of the same teams as your school. Also, I am pretty sure that football is the ultimate team game and you need more than a stud RB to be "successful." Just a word to the wise from a viewer of BGP, be careful what you say on here, as it is seen by numerous people all over the state.

 

I don't want to start an arguement by any means, as I am as passionate for the Cooper program as you are the Boone one. All I ask is that you please stay on topic, as there is no reason to put down a program in its 2nd year. Good luck to the Rebels this year, as well as the Jaguars.
