Thats pretty funny to bad Simon Kenton will beat Boone, Dixie, and Ryle!

Isn't Beechwood supposed to have a down year with the loss of Colosimo and Rigdon?

 

Replacing the QB position is probably the biggest question mark for Beechwood. Beyond that, this Beechwood team will almost certainly be stronger than last year led by RB Cameron Vocke, who will be one of the most exciting players to watch in N. Ky.

I think the poll is pretty solid for a pre-season poll, IMO Cooper shouldnt be on the list But this shows the work they have put in. IMO CovCath wont finish in the top five. Holmes may be a little high but I think they will live up to the ranking.

Yes he did I think Holmes will surprise some people.

 

I hope they do surprise folks. I always like seeing NKY schools bringing the competition.

 

At the same time, even with their 9-3 record from last season, I don't see how they can realistically be ranked at #3 this go-around when the only real teams to test their mettle last year were Dixie, Withrow and Lex Cath, all of which handed Holmes a loss. Not to mention the fact that last year they only played two of the other 9 teams in the top ten...

I've got a feeling that Cooper may very soon be much better than many people expect. What other school(s) would you put over them though? Newport, Bellevue, Dayton, Ludlow, Holy Cross, Walton-Verona, Campbell County, or Brossart? Campbell County is the only school that has near the student body to draw from. Cooper may be a new program, but I honestly think they're about right where they should be in this one - especially considering the games they played against Campbell County, Newport and Holmes last year.

 

Just out of curiosity, which 5 squads would you rank over Cov Cath?
