January 2, 201412 yr After hearing good thinks about it, I rented Horror flick, Cabin in the Woods. Really good movie up to the end. Was worth the $1 even with the dumb ending. On the flip side, also rented British film, The World's End. I don't see how this movie could have received any positive reviews.

I personally liked the original when I saw it when I was just a little kid. The original starred Danny Kaye and I always loved that one.
January 3, 201412 yr Saw the new Hobbit movie on Wednesday. Solid, I give it 3 stars out of 4. A couple of the action scenes were actually too long.
January 11, 201412 yr Drinking Buddies- on Netflix. Saw it on a few peoples "Best movies of 2013" so I thought i'd check it out. Pretty good considering it was heavily improvised. Stars Jake Johnson (New Girl, Safety Not Guaranteed), Olivia Wilde (House M.D., and Rush), Anna Kendrick (Up in the Air, 50/50), and Ron Livingston (The guy from Office Space).
