April 5, 201412 yr Watched Lincoln for the first time a few nights ago. What a great film & Daniel Day-Lewis was outstanding. Great movie. Just caught the ending again a few minutes ago. Discovered that Boyd Crowder was one of the voters.

April 16, 201412 yr Just watched Django Unchained last night. Thought it was about twenty minutes too long, but a really good movie. Christopher whatever his last name is was really, really good in particular. Boyd Crowder was in it too, which is a good thing.
May 5, 201412 yr Author Watched this last week. Great movie. Weird seeing Steve Carell play a real jerk of a character. Sam Rockwell also has a nice supporting role where you get to see him stretch some of his comedic muscles. Rockwell is one of my favorite male actors out there right now.
May 5, 201412 yr Watched the Wolf of Wall Street a couple weeks ago…made the biggest mistake of my life as we were watching it with my 16 and 17 year old….awkward is not even the word I would use. Would like to watch it again under less stress. Thought it was good. Having worked with some of the "trader" types on a trading floor, I didn't think it was that outrageous. Back in the day a lot of that kind of stuff went on. Caution: If you are offended by nudity, language, drug use or Type A personalities…this one is not for you. Hill and DeCaprio are excellent in this one.
May 25, 201412 yr Saw "Blended" starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore tonight. Actually surprised me. It was a very good movie with a good story line and funny as heck.

May 25, 201412 yr Watched Wolf of Wall Street over the weekend. I was expecting better honestly. It was OK.
May 25, 201412 yr Saw the Avengers flick a couple of weeks ago. Good stuff, and it kind of got me back into my old childhood love of superhero comic books a little bit. Loved all the X-Men movies, and re-watched Spider-Man again (had never seen it from the very beginning, for whatever reason) and really enjoyed it. No, I'm not buying comics again, but reading up on the online resources and remembering old stories I'd read back in the day. I never was much into Marvel comics as I was DC (big Batman fan here), so I'm kind of learning the Marvel heroes and villains anew.
