Why watch the NBA or the Reds, when you can watch high school football!:thumb:

I just have a picture in my head of you in your man cave with one of those old-fashioned projectors like our coaches used when we were playing being like my coach - backward and forward - backward and forward - watching the play over and over again and taking notes.

Leatherneck, it sounds like you may have had a "peaking Clyde" while you were watching the game tapes.

I must admit that I've gone back and watched tapes from 2001 through 2004 occasionally. However, I doubt I watched with such a finely tuned eye as my man.

I understand, that is what I do to hold me over until the next season starts.

Nah, I'm high tech my friend, watching the games on DVD although the part of going back and forth over each play is accurate. Heck, I have each play from 5 different angles, so it takes a while to get through each game if I want to look at all angles. I should probably break out the old 16 mm projector and watch some actual game films from the 75 season, if they haven't all broken apart. I have them downstairs stored in the man cave, which I'll finally get to start using again when the youngest heads off to college next year. So that picture in your head may have been a premonition. :D

He does have an older brother, Eric, that played for Highlands. Was a LB and O lineman. Nice kid and football player.

Thanks...I wasn't sure if Eric was his brother or cousin but figured they were related.

Talk about easy. Thats why I dont ever rank them high cause they always have a easy schedule. Play someone and they might get better and have a chance to win state.

Easy? Middletown only lost to Colerain and Anderson and beat Moeller. Henry Clay could beat just about anybody in northern Ky. New Richmond is coming off a 9-2 season I don't know where you get easy unless when SK blows out Ryle again!

I don't know what the Middies return but I know they were good last season, and annually have a pretty good program. The New Richmond game will be an upgrade from Schroder and I'm sure HC will once again be solid. Only 130 days until game one.
