Speaking of televised games, I read an article by Ryan Ernst last week and it sounded as if Tackett possibly wanted to end the practice of live broadcasts.

Here's the article, maybe someone else can help me interpret the part about televised broadcasts. I can't tell if it's coming from Tackett or a suggestion by Ernst.

No more live television coverage during the regular season. The idea of prep Friday night is to go out in the community, interact, support your school. Besides, how many games in Kentucky are selling out?

 

The more I look at it I belive it's Ryan's suggestion.

I think, not 100% sure that NKY 6A get Lexington 6A this year in the playoffs. Getting thru H.C. will be very tough.

Ryle couldnt touch Henry Clay's speed there to fast SK would have beat them but turnovers in the first qtr put the game out of reach.

Henry Clay is about as good as X probaly faster Ryle would be lucky to even score SK has the speed to play with these type of teams!!!!:walk:

I have been reading your recent post, and the comedy you provide is amazing! To say Henry Clay is as good as X is just like all of your other comments. Henry Clay has a great football program with a tradition of winning, but for anyone that truly knows high school football, would probably know that X is in a seperate class from most of the high schools around here. I spoke with an X dad at the UK junior day and he said they will be even stronger this year than last year, and if that is anywhere near true, they will repeat.

By what measure do you make the bolded claim? As to the part about SK having the speed to play with these teams (Henry Clay and St. X), make sure you come back when you can remind us when they have the speed to beat them, not just play with them!:thumb:

As pointed out many times in the threads last year...there's a huge difference between track speed and football speed. SK played their best game against X and X played down to their opponents level.

Just checking in to get my daily dose of ukfan36.......No matter how bad my morning can be, i'm always cheered up a little by noon.
