March 23, 201016 yr Do you know of any recent players that you could use as an example? I'm just wondering how many games he could possibly miss? John Wall was a similar situation although he isn't from overseas...
March 23, 201016 yr I don't know a whole lot about this guy besides what little I've read on here or on KSR...but I love the "5-star recruit" that goes along with his name. If the taller version of Tyler Hansborough is true then I'm very happy.
March 23, 201016 yr Do you know of any recent players that you could use as an example? I'm just wondering how many games he could possibly miss? It varies from case to case based on how many games you played in with the "professional" player. A few years back UC had one guy they said could never play in the NCAA even though he was never paid and another that had to sit out an entire season...
March 23, 201016 yr EvanDanielscout Kanter is rated as a 5-star prospect on Scout.com. Put up 24 and 18 on Tristan Thompson this past weekend against Findlay Prep.
March 23, 201016 yr Huge add by the Cats. I've heard rumblings that wherever Enes ended up would have to deal with him missing some games at the start of the season because of questions with his eligibility, but I may be thinking of someone else...:idunno: Nope thats the guy. Hopefully it can all be worked out but I wouldn't be shocked if he missed a few.
March 23, 201016 yr Sounds great to me. I honestly never heard of him before until now. Is he mainly a back to the basket player, or is he someone who can face up and shoot some too?

March 23, 201016 yr Author Mainly a back to the basket player. Great rebounder. They say he is terrific with his back to the basket, but can beat big men off the dribble and play facing up.
March 23, 201016 yr They say he is terrific with his back to the basket, but can beat big men off the dribble and play facing up. He's already a polished big man with solid fundamentals. He'll be a good 16 and 11 guy next year, IMO.
March 23, 201016 yr I personally think they'll both be back, but that's just my opinion. Kanter is an NBA player - probably a one and done. Knight is an NBA player. Leslie/Jones are NBA players. Poole is a solid player that will contribute. We'll be fine next season, IMO. So, UK will soon be known as NBA-Lite.
