Scout.com rates him as a Five Star Center.

6'9 240lbs. Daniels said he had plenty of offers to play professionally overseas.

I read something about Kanter not being rated in the pre-season rankings for whatever reason, but that by the final rankings he would be in the top 20-25. Maybe Jerry Meyer said that?

Glad this is official. Lot of rumblings of this happening. :thumb:

Great news. :dancingpa:dancingpa

This is a big get for Kentucky...

Now, WHEN we land Knight and if we land one of our forwards, we are right back in the hunt again next season :thumb:

Even with Orton and Bledsoe leaving?

I personally think they'll both be back, but that's just my opinion. Kanter is an NBA player - probably a one and done. Knight is an NBA player. Leslie/Jones are NBA players. Poole is a solid player that will contribute.

We'll be fine next season, IMO.

Huge add by the Cats.

I've heard rumblings that wherever Enes ended up would have to deal with him missing some games at the start of the season because of questions with his eligibility, but I may be thinking of someone else...:idunno:
