April 14, 201016 yr Ok I just started reading about this kid today. But isn't this the type of player that should raise red flags every where for Cal to stay away from? As was pointed out earlier the clearing house can come back as it has on Cal in the past, so shouldn't this be the kind of player you avoid like the plague if you are trying to prove that you can win one and keep it?

Really a lose, lose proposition. Even if the clearinghouse says it's OK, the NCAA can still apparently do whatever they want.

True...the NCAA can also come and say that playing in front of 23,000 screaming fans is too much of an advantage and strip you of all of your home wins...of course that is ridiculous...but then again the NCAA is prone to doing things that is ridiculous!!! So let's enjoy the big kid and have fun again next season...

Cal addressed that very issue in his interview on ESPNU. He pointed out that the way things are done in Europe are not the way things are handled here and that the NCAA is starting to understand that. :thumb:
