He's one wild and crazy guy. Do you have "The Steve Martin Brothers" album? It's almost entirely him playing banjo music (all recorded live). Only one or two tracks are actually comedy. February 18, 201016 yr I love "live" albums, records, CD's, mp3's, etc. Naturally ... for a guy that doesn't get to any concerts (my concert experience consists of Molly Hatchet and the Blue Oyster Cult--who all wore jackets that said "1996: On Tour Forever Tour") the best way to get a feel for how good a group actually is--would be through their "live" work. I like some groups live that I can't stand on a normal studio recording (Guns for instance).
