February 15, 201016 yr Ranging from a half inch to and inch in Richmond. EKU has been put on a 2 hour delay, which completely screws up my day and work schedule. It's still coming down pretty good and all side roads are bad. I have no idea what the bypass looks like, but if it keeps going at this rate, they'll cancel classes - more the timing of this event rather than the amounts.
February 15, 201016 yr Snow is always cool for the first fall of the year. After that, I don't know a single person (out of high school) who enjoys it. I've been out of high school for 25 years, and I still love it. :dancingpa
February 15, 201016 yr Yeah, but was it snowing? I wouldn't classify it as snowing, but I'm sure someone would.
February 15, 201016 yr The Snowpocolypse in my area is underway. My carefully shoveled walkway tunnel from the last storm is now completely covered over and it is still coming down strong.
February 15, 201016 yr I-75 between Richmond and Lexington was as bad as I've seen it in years so this is probably a good thing EKU was cancelled.
February 15, 201016 yr Coming down really hard right now in Frankfort. The wind is whipping it up too. My son called and said the roads were terrible. He saw 6 cars spun out from our house to his work. Maybe a 5 mile trip for him to work. :ohbrother:

I know of people who live in Richmond and travel to Lex. for work. They had to turn around halfway to Lex. because 75 was so bad. I do find it a bit inconsiderate that UK is still operating on a normal schedule, no delays, nothing.
February 15, 201016 yr I believe that Georgetown College is closed for the day. Mcdaughter had three tests scheduled today, so I'm not sure if she's happy, or frustrated because she spent much of yesterday studying.

Hasn't been touched. I went the long way home and when I came back around, they had East Main closed from the cemetary down.
