February 15, 201016 yr The extreme northern part of NKY is ground zero this time. They're saying 7-11" by the time it's all over. Yet Ft. Thomas Independent schools were still open??? I don't get that. Grand and South Fort Thomas looked horrible this morning. There was nothing the plows could really do it was covering up everything so fast.

February 15, 201016 yr Talk to the super. :idunno: I'm waiting on the return phone call. Apparently I was on a long waiting list. Why the eye thing? This is the second time in 2 weeks they have had school w/ weather like this. Last week they were the only school in the area open. My kids were lucky and we drove them to school. I'm not a huge fan of watching 7,8, and 9 year old kids walking (literally) through a foot of snow on unclear sidewalks when they can just make the day up at the end of the year, especially w/ how bad the flu and sickness has been flying around the schools.
