You might want to add that that's the first call from Chris Bailey's weather blog http://www.kyweathercenter.com

LEX18 is calling for 3-6 with spots of 8 inches.

NWS is saying 3-5 right now, but that could change depending on the storm's track.

WKYT has yet to make a prediction.

Thanks I meant to do that but forgot. :thumb:

IMO, Bailey is the best around here. I was sad to see him leave WKYT.

He sure is. I use him almost exclusively with my job now. I do check with the National Weather Service also.

We have him here in the Tri-State area now. He's on our local NBC affiliate out of Huntington, WV.

Since someone posted a link to his blog in nWo's "two loafer" storm thread, I have told several people about it. It's about all I now use for the weather reports. I've even got the guy over our transportation at school using it along with his other weather reports.

Anyone else heard how much is expected for NKY? Originally it was less than two inches as of Sat morning but by tonight at dinner I was hearing 3-5 inches?

I heard 4-8 for NKY.

Probably five or less.

The GFS is showing 6-8 for NKY

The NAM is showing 6-12 for NKY

But models do change.

For the record I consider NKY north of Butler.

I absolutely love his blog, wish he was still in Lexington...

I think I and MOST of NKY consider NKY to include and then north of Grant and Pendelton. But definitely thanks for the info. I'm beginning to think this one could be a wash.

I think, technically, the metro area includes Bracken, Grant, Owen & Pendleton Counties.

Ha I always consider Bracken and Owen honestly just didn't mention them because they lay east and west to the other two counties. But for the record I AGREE.:thumb:
