Is there anything that could ever be done by either team that would create more motivation in a St. X/Trinity game? The emotion and motivation whenever these two meet is at the max, so any possible slight or insult can not add motivation.

WOW! Didn't realize so many people watch Coach Glaser instead of their team. Must be one great person / coach.

 

If he is this kind of person then he should apologize for acting like "Ochocinco" in a moment of excitement. As an adult role model at a Catholic school, which he is supposed to be, he needs to exhibit a lot better sportsmanship than this as the leader of his team!

Did you feel the same when Beatty ran a hook and ladder against Ryle when up 42 points a few years back? How about when he refused to shake the Manual coach's hand after a defeat?

Get over it, St X played a great game and it is what it is!

Ok, it was 4th and 5 and the ball on the 16 yard line. 4minutes and 54 seconds to go in the game. Let's say X decides to go for it rather than kick the FG, and they come out and run it straight up the middle. They do not make it and all T posters are talking about what a bad coaching decision it was. Well, X ( Coach Glaser) does decide to go for it, but, uses deception rather than lining up to run, Outcome is a touchdown because Mr. Beatty got outcoached. Live with it, it happens and will happen again. Coach beatty is a high school coach, NOT VINCE LOMBARDI> He got tricked just like he has tricked others in the past and has been applauded for it as a genius. This game, the ST. X coaches were better. T was out coached!!!

WADR - that was not the case. Outmanned and outplayed - absolutely. Not the former. YOur kidding yourself if you think that was the case.

 

X had the better team - and played better. Did not win because they had better coaches.

Talked to a couple of St. X families ater mass this morning. While they were elated on the win, each family, one of whom has "close" ties to him, apologized for Glaser's actions.

 

By coming so far out onto the field - at least to the numbers \if not further - (and I believe the film will show he may have done more than simply "tip his hat" - there are many who feel this should have been -

- Dead Ball - 15 yds. - Unsportsmanlike Conduct.

How about the St.X defense giving up just 55 total yrads and 0 points in the second half! Just a great performance it was nice to have all healthy again.

I think with the fake field goal they just wanted to see if it worked or not. :lol::lol: I was told they practiced it throughout the week in case it was needed.
