I do admit that although disappointed, I really think the future is VERY bright for the Rocks for the next few years! We killed ourselves with penalties, but that is something that can be fixed. After starting off with such uncertainty, with all the challenges they overcame, the Rocks achieved great things by making it to the finals. All the pieces were in place for a season of implosion, but I really feel this team has great character and gumption. Bring on 2010!

 

As to the venue, I really enjoyed LT Smith Stadium, as well as the WKU campus. As others alluded in earlier threads, the traffic and parking tonight were a non-issue.

 

I do know, though, that if seating is handled the same way next year, I will not pay $15 for seats in advance. We had what we thought were reserved seats, yet most of the people around us were GA. Definitely ticked that I spent $40 on two tickets to get them through ticketmaster, and find out I could have paid GA and sat in the same place.

You forget half our male enrollment is in drama, chess, hi-q, golf, swimming, yearbook, and don't know how to hold a football.....but yes we'd love to have an annual with the Blue Beards.

Did any one see how St. X's Coach walked to the hash line and tipped his hat to the Trinity sideline after the fake field goal attempt??? Did anyone else think that that was a little low class??

I will not believe, even if showed video, that Mike Glaser was trying to send any kind of message to the Trinity sideline by touching, "tipping" his cap. If you've watched Glaser over the years you'd know that he constantly touches and fidgets with his hat.

1st time since 2003 that one team won twice in the same year. Thanks WKU, nice job.
