Boyle by 10. They are a special team. In a normal year Lone Oak would have a shot but if Bell didn't get them it's not going to happen this year. Last year Bell was clearly the best and this year it is Boyle.

Does anyone know if Boyle Co. will be wearing their black jerseys or their white? I like the black..

 

 

LO is wearing white. BC is the home team.

Will not be close if Boyle come ready to play. LO had a hard time beating LexCath @ LO and Boyle had very little trouble with LexCath. The LO defense will have a hard time slowing down Boyle.

I will say this........For the past 4 weeks BGP posters have been overwhelmingly wrong when it came to LO predictions....I hope the trend continues..I really dont think there is any D in 4A that can hold the flash under 30 on a normal weather night(not a monsoon) and the predictions that Boyle will hold them to 7 are just uneducated propoganda....Boyle will get their share but i am going on record and saying if Boyle holds us to 14 pts i will walk all the way back to Paducah...Boyle has never faced the kind of offense that the Flash will bring...I really think it will be somewhere around 38-28.. Lone oak holds on to claim their first state title...I have seen Boyle play and of course Lone Oak so that is a pretty educated guess.........

The same way you say you will walk back to Paducah if Boyle County holds Lone Oak to 14, I have a hard time believing Lone Oak will hold us to just 28. While I truly believe you underestimate the abilities of our defense, I understand your allegiance to your team. I have the same allegiance to mine and while I think you guys will score more than 14 it wouldn't surprise me if you didn't. Points do not nor will they come easy against this defense. I think that is the main point people are trying to make. You could really be left scratching your head trying to figure out how you only managed 20 points.....especially when you see how small we are.

 

Lone Oak will not be the first "high powered" offense we have faced and while they score points in different ways, if you guys can manage to keep scoring the way you do against us, then I'll be the first to say congratulations for finding a way to defeat this defense, because no one has truly done it in the last 2 years. Even the one game we lost in the last 2 years, that high powered offense only managed 10 points on our defense. The other 7 points came off an interception returned for a touchdown. I think that's all people are saying.

 

You also had a poster mention that you guys are susceptible to cutbacks and misdirection. As I said to that poster, if that is true, that is not good for you guys.

 

Now, to my final point. Rees MacShara is one of the top 5 running backs in this state. He should be a lock for a finalist for Mr. Football and IMO, he should win it. You have not faced a running back like Rees MacShara and as long as he is recovered from the pounding he took from the Bell County game(which I am sure he is), it could be a long early afternoon for you guys. If you guys can't stop Rees, then you won't win. Shut down Rees, and you have a chance to win. It is that simple.
