From what I was told LO throws the ball everywhere. They kinda use the Hal Mumme aproach.

We ,(as fans) can pound our chests as much as we want to about who is the better O vs. the better D...But really i look at it like this. There are 2 really great teams traveling to BG.One will win and one will lose obviously. I would like to take the time to say congrats to both for being the best from there side of the state!!!!!May we have a clean game and everyone walk away healthy.....

Boyle probably has a better running offense and Lone Oak has the better passing offense.Boyle probably has the better over all defense but seem to have trouble against a strong passing team.

 

I know I look at the Lexington Catholic game and compare scores and stats and that conferms what I wrote above.

 

That's what makes this game so interesting....... Can Boyle hold the passing attack from LO can LO hold BC's rushing attack????????? We'll have to wait until Friday and see.

Does this game seem to be coming in slow? I'm ready for this game to be here already so we can let the game speak for us.

I hope everyone dress warm,the forecast calls for a cold and windy day,but at least we have some sun.I wouldn't want to have a night game that night,thats when 5A plays their game.

Here's a post from another site with a few stats. I thought it was interesting.

 

 

Lone Oak has ran 712 plays (rush and pass attempts) and scored 623 points. That is averages to them scoring 0.875 points/snap of the ball, which I think is impressive.

 

Boyle County has ran 596 plays (rush and pass attempts) and scored 600 points. That averages out to them scoring 1.0067 points/snap of the ball. Even More Impressive

 

This means that if each team gets 50 snaps in the game the score would be:

LO - 44

Boyle - 50

 

And for the most impressive. The MacShara kid has touched the ball 257times (Rush and Receptions) and scored 282 points. That means he is averaging 1.1 points per touch. WOW

A send off is planned for the players Friday morning at 7:45 at the High School. All fans that can make it are encouraged to come out and cheer the Rebels on to victory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :thumb::thumb::dancingpa:dancingpa:

 

If anyone is planning on coming to the send off you may want to get to the school around 7:30, If you wait until 7:45 the team will be leaving then. Lone Oak fans, you may not have the tradition of some of the other programs across the state, but, you always praise your opponent and give credit where credit is due, even when, at 14-0, your team doesnt always get the credit it deserves. You could thump your chest and dish the other teams, but, that's not your style. I call it a quiet confidence.

 

You Boyle fans have alot of hardware and could very well act like some of these other fan bases with alot of tradition, but, you guys have always shown respect and give great insight, good and bad. Very knowledgeable fans.

 

Both of you are undefeated and have had great seasons and noone to this point have found a way to beat you, so, it's understandable to be confident. Who's been ranked where is irrelevent at this point as it'll take it's due course in a couple of days.

 

Good luck to both class programs. Will definately be one of the weekends best to see.

I just realized that in this game a coach will get their first ring..Coach Haskins will have been to the carpet 3 times without a ring as a head coach...I dont know about coach French, i just know he has not won one either...And both teams are unbeaten another first..(or so to speak).
