I agree i wish we played some better comp...But you have to realize we do not have the tradition yet as Boyle does and Geographically we are challenged as well..Hopefully next year we can beef up our schedule...But this team is as complete a TEAM as ive ever seen in high school and ive been aroun high school athletics at different areas for 30 yrs...We were not sure when the season started how good we would be...A lot of underclassmen, a first year starting QB and a new D coordinator..But it has really surprised me on how good LO really is...Couple that with the 07 players that are seniors n ow leading this team and they are so focused on this game that it will truly be a dogfight...so get ready to be FLASHED Boyle!!!!

Or option 3 Lone oak shut down Boyles run and takes MacSharra out of the game plan and LO does what they do and and ends up a huge upset!!!!

Rees MacShara needs to get the ball early and often. Boyle County was able to eat off some serious clock against Bell County in the 2nd half because #2 kept touching the ball. I think if Rees is able to touch the ball and wear down this Purple Flash defense then Boyle County will come home with #6. Boone needs to make some key throws but IMO he does not need to throw the ball more than 10-15 times. The Rebels bread and butter has been giving it to Rees MacShara and let him do his thing. Why stop now?

 

For the record, I know the playbook is more than just Rees MacShara but every Boyle County fan knows that MacShara needs to get the carries in this game. Come on boys, bring home #6. Finish the Fight!

 

There is not a truer statement than this one. I was at the Boyle/Bell game and every time #2 touched the ball every Rebel fan held their breath because they thought he would go to the house. I heard small kid after small kid keep yelling "give it to Rees MacShara he will score" or "come on Rees get us a TD". It was definately obvious that every Boyle Co fan has all the confidence in the world that good ole' #2 will get the job done and from what I have heard through the season and from what I have witnessed first hand I think they are right. Rees MacShara is beast of a running back with the determination of a champion. Good Luck to both teams but I will be pulling for the Rebels in this one!

Im going to go with the better defense in this one. Lone Oaks passing attack does worry me somewhat. If Lone Oak has trouble on offense it could be a very long day. 42-28 Rebels.

I heard BC coach French say on a radio show the game plan is to run the ball to contol the game and keep the ball out of LO's offense hands. I guess that will be up to LO's defense becuase if they don't have the abiltiy to contain Mc Shara, BC will have some quick big play drives like they have had all season.:popcorn:

That was Franklin Simpsons,Allen County Scottsvilles, and Marion Countys game plan as well...In the end they all had to regroup and start passing because they fell so far behind..If LO gets 5 possesions a half and stops Boyle and makes them punt twice...It could be a very long day for the Rebels.......:popcorn:

There is only one problem with what you said,You are playing Boyle County, not those other teams, Big difference believe me. This has to be the best game plan, its Boyle Co. strength running the ball. Boyle's O-Line despite there size blocks extremely well, I think you'll see what I'm talking about friday. I saw high lights of 2 games on the internet of LO games, it looked like to me their opponents made a lot of mistakes and didn't tackle well, Boyle Co. doesn't play that way.

I believe they just passed Boyle this past friday. 623-600 on the year. Not too much of a difference on a season. Boyle has given up 101 to Lone Oaks 189

You know the old saying "offense wins games, defense wins championships". I think that will be proven this Friday.
