Where is Toothpick this year??

I figured Mayfield would win but a little bit surprised at the margin of victory. Is the Beechwood era over? I'd say not after only having one down season. But is there hope for a better ball team next season?

Beechwood congratulations on a great year. The eight seniors have a lot to be proud of. For so few they took Beechwood a long way. The future is definitely looking bright for the Beechies a lot of talent coming up.

Congrats to Mayfield on the win. Mayfield had over 500 yards of offense tonight.

 

Mayfield's overall team speed was what won them the game. Beechwood not having a passing game hurt their running game something terrible.

Very clean game between two very classy programs.

 

Mayfield should have some very good teams the next few years. Mayfield only has 10 seniors and not all of them play.

I kept wondering why they kept throwing toward him. He will be a special player by the time he is done. He is just a sophomore.

I believe Mayfield is the only team that has played Beechwood at least 3 times in Class A to be undefeated against Beechwood and maybe in the whole state! Love for the streak to continue, but eventually the Tigers will get us!

Don't need to really add anything, the score says it all. It was as one-sided as the final indicates. However, I think we realized what the difference in speed and quickness is. One team had quickness, one team had both. Nice, clean game from both squads. Nice evenly officiated game for both sides, wish we could have seen more of that from 1st region zebras this year.

 

Go CARDINALS and all of far Western Kentucky next weekend, other than Ft. Campbell, the west has been shut out of state titles for far too long. :dancingpa
