The Scribe
Webster County has the best shot of the winless, although that isn't much of a shot.

The Scribe
Bye to start the playoffs is crazy. So is a 3-team district but that is one of the byproducts of 6-class football

Voice of Reason
So is a 3-team district but that is one of the byproducts of 6-class football I like the 6 class football set up, even if a #1 seed gets a bye. There are many, many tournaments in sports where a highly seeded team gets a bye in the first round of a tournament. The majority of the games are no brainers in round one but there are more than a few games in every bracket that will be fun competitive contests. I don't want to thread jack. I am sure a thread on this topic will generate the usual discussion so anyone who wants this discussion should start a thread.

Voice of Reason
I don't like the bye but I would love for them to take the top 2 teams just MO. In last year's playoffs, there were 15 games won in the first round by 3 and 4 seeds. There were another 14 first round games that the higher seed won but the margin of victory was 2 TD's or less. In the 2 years of 6 class football, multiple #4 seeds have won games both years. Edited November 2, 2009 by Voice of Reason
