How do you think this re-match will turn out. Will the Birds' banged up offense have any effect on the outcome? Has Ryle improved enough to make this a better game than the first?

I think anytime you're missing key personnel or they're playing in different positions it will have some effect. Unfortunately it will not be enough to equate to a Ryle victory. You will not see the same Birds defense on the field Friday that you saw on the field in the beginning of the year. Highlands will be 18 points better than Ryle at the end of the night this Friday at DCM.

The Birds better come to play because you know Ryle is ready to avenge their earlier loss...Stay focused and practice mad this week..:madman:

Highlands had trouble filling thier schedule. Ryle agreed to play twice. It only happened after every possible effort was made to get someone else other than Ryle. I would have liked to have played someone else, but it is going to be interesting to make comparisons from the beginning of the year and the end.

If the Birds' D play like they did against X, another unblemished regular season! The D has come a long way since Week #1 and I just do not see anyone racking up the points to pull out a victory against HHS.

 

The interesting match-up will be the Birds' O against Ryle's D. Should be a good one... Birds' by 21!:thumb:

I would have liked to have seen them play that week HHS played Withrow and SK played (forgot the name of that team on Red Bank in Ohio) which would have been perfect for each other. Actually HHS wasn't clicking on all cylinders then. Now, different story. I see HHS with win in this game. Speed! Speed! And more Speed! Just ask 9 other opponents.

 

Even with a couple injuries and kids playing unfamiliar positions, HHS still wins. I think the rest of the team from top to bottom has really become a great unit. And their backups have proven they can play witch bodes well for the future.

At the end of the day Highlands has to much speed and will spread the field out. Ryle relies on Elliot and the Birds will contain him again. Ryle has a few new looks on D but still see HHS by 14.

Ryle made some good adjustments on O and D since the SK game and they are much better because of it. It will be a very hard fought game at the Fort. Ryle can win the game by mixing it up effectively and playing field position on 4th and short in their own territory instead of gambling.

And their backups have proven they can play witch bodes well for the future.
