Ididn't know Ryle had a passing game . They have a great tight end,but the previous Highlands game he had like,two catches, and the smallest HHS players were bringing him down without a problem. :confused:

He had a catch for decent yardage in the SK game that was televised a few weeks back. (Not much speed, and he went down pretty easily, but I don't think he'll be called on to do a lot of pass catching in college.) Definitely a weapon, and not one I'd ignore completely, but I wouldn't call him a game breaker.

The Birds better come to play because you know Ryle is ready to avenge their earlier loss...Stay focused and practice mad this week..:madman:

 

I agree!!! The way that I see it, everybody is always trying to knock off number one. This game could be a lot closer than the first meeting. For Ryle, I would expect them to make adjustments from the first game. I'm sure that they have improved a lot since their first meeting both on O and D. As for Highlands, they still have their stellar D. As for the O,the Birds have a sophomore at QB instead of a lightning fast senior. Special teams are very much improved. Highlands better bring their A game this game or they may get surprised. HHS should not take any team lightly. One game at a time and stay focused!! Go Birds !!! :thumb:

This game has me puzzled in regards to strategy. Other than HHS' goal of being undefeated its a game that has no impact in regards to playoffs. Will each team play it close to the vest? Will Ryle hold back so that their playoff opponents do not see some formations they are working on?

 

Or will it be a huge game for both teams? HHS going undefeated? Ryle with a chance to make a statement?

This is a great point and I was wondering that myself. Does this game mean anything from a playoff standpoint? Would it make sense to bench anyone and everyone who was even remotely hurt to get them ready come playoff time?

The big difference between Cincy St. X and Colerain this year is that St. X is 16 points better. CF - don't need to ask Dale.
