6A: Trinity/Ryle Predictions
First play of the game Ryle's QB hit a receiver dead in the chest and he dropped the ball. The only thing around him was open field and the inzone.

Who benefits / suffers the most from the new alignment?
Wow! Yes a powerhouse. If so why didn't Highlands ever show up on their schedule? Funny how that works.

Simon Kenton/Middletown Predictions
Ryle would run over Middletown! I wish they had them on their schedule.
-
Ryle/Cov Cath Predictions
Ryle did not have a "Nicholas" playing for them????

Why is Ryle so.............................
Go to the next board meeting and ask.

Tate Nichols (Ryle '10) wins 2009 That's My Boy Award
Tate Nichols wins "That's My Boy award". Great job! He earned it.

Tate Nichols (Ryle '10) wins 2009 That's My Boy Award
It will come down to the points earned. Who ever has the most will win. The #s will tell the story. IMO this is the purest award out there. There isn't much personal opinion that comes into play. Who ever finishes on top will have earned it on their own. It's a great award. If I were to guess, regardless who my favorite is, I think it is going to be Collinsworth or Nichols. And that's after considering all of the #s.

Collinsworth commits to....
Its not not uncommon for a coach to come in this late in the game on a visit. They want to secure all of the committs they have. The other college coaches will continue to try and steal a recruit right up until signing day. Its a pretty cut throat business. If the kid doesn't hear from the school they have committed too it makes it easy for another school to change their mind.

Collinsworth commits to....
BK was also at Ryle today to see Nichols.

Miles Simpson to UK??
I agree. I think Zook has been told that this is his final year to make it happen.
-
Miles Simpson to UK??
I read that UK already has more commits than scholorships to give.

Tate Nichols (Ryle) to Notre Dame?
scout.com list Nichols as a 3* OT and his national OT rank is #71. And that was without him playing OT in high school. Wonder what he would have been had he played OT. Impressive!

Questioning the AP
Understand and agree.

Questioning the AP
Not that it matters at this point!! But. I think your sats are wrong on Nichols. I think he had 26 catches for 500 yds. Plus he was ranked #9 in the state (out of all players) some considered him to be the #1 TE in the state. Ranked # 47 TE in the country by Rivals. Fugate is a very good WR but he is a true WR playing ball in an area of KY that does not typically throw the ball a whole lot. So I am guessing his stats alone did not get him over the hump. Considering they are team mates and good friends I'm sure that they support each other no matter who gets the nod. But I do think the coaches got it right in ranking Nichols higher than Fugate. I am susprised that Nichols wasn't 2nd team. But as already noted they can't make us all happy.
