Bout what I expected in a trap game like this one. We have a big divisional game next week with Ole Miss. I predicted 31-13...didn't really expect UK to get 2 touchdowns. Also don't really understand why all the crying over Nick running the fake. If we don't kick we're running it up, if we kick and get the points we're running it up...so what do we do??? We tried to run the clock out, but brooks kept taking time outs, if y'all ain't gonna quit we won't either.

At the post game tailgate I was tossing football with my 3 year old son. He threw a pass right to an Alabama fan passing by. I've got to quit letting him watch Hartline play.

It will look by in the highligths but I had no problem with Saban end of the game management.

UK played more physical today than last week. Better effort. Turnovers killed the Cats.

 

As far as Saban running a fake, I am fine with it. He was trying to run out the clock and not let UK have it back. Smart coaching IMHO. He was not trying to run up the score as a few seem to believe. On 4th down, why not take a shot at the end zone down that close? I have no problem with the way he called the end of the game. You could even see the QB watching the play clock on the last drive and not getting ready to snap until it was under 8 seconds.

You don't run fake FG's and fade passes to the end zone on 4th down when you're trying to "kill the clock."

Can't see why anyone would have a problem with Alabama still playing at the end......UK's job is to stop them.

Bama running the ball into the line late and the Cats tearing their heads off, QB watching the time run down, fake field goal knowing we wouldn't score.

 

We are not worried about the Gators, they do not appear on our schedule.

 

I knew the Cats would play hard and they did. We are a much better team than last year, and could lose next week to Ole Miss.

 

Cat Fans were real nice and respectful, something I don't see in some places I visit.

 

See you in 4 years not in less its for the SEC Championship.

If Joker said this, the problem maybe his and not Hartline. Joker, take the reigns off Hartline and let him play!!!!

I think it's time for some to admit that UK's defense, especially Lindley and Johnson, are a tad overrated. They miss Jarmon a lot, and I think a lot of their predicted success is a result of what they could have been with Jarmon in there. They have up 27 points to a terrible Louisville team that hasn't score 27 since.

 

Whether it's lack of tackling, poor special teams play, receivers running the wrong routes, bad throws to the middle of the field, and ill-timed turnovers, this Kentucky team is good for about 5-7 minute stretch where they make zero plays and pretty much dig a hole. Other than Cobb, UK's receivers aren't good. They don't run good routes and have a hard time making the catches they should.

 

I think Kentucky's opening win over a bad, bad Miami of Ohio team was fool's gold for the fans.

 

But you can't give up 38 points in the SEC and expect to win.
